I BRING SONG (Poetry)

I bring songs, not prophecies of seers
of indefatigable hope when men bury heads in brain
of indomitable optimism when we Steele minds in thought

Song may become prophetic, or the prophetic; songful
and who will tell the mid-points?

I bring songs, not prophecies of seers

farmers sing when planting
workers sing when working
creativity is song…

I bring songs, not the prophecies of seers
songs may be prophetic, and the prophetic may be songful
but who, who can tell the centre?

I bring songs to make sweats easy,
I bring sweat to make after-song sweeter.
