The second episode of our photo album is here…after four months of hibernation…in case you haven’t noticed we are in the Rainy Season, and our cameras don’t normally work in the rainy season (Freaks of Technology, tell me about it). But after much praying and fasting (yes we just ended the Ramadan Season), Our Cameras were granted a few moments of sight, to capture and to captivate those who will go through these our Memories in Print.
Yes it has been an event filled week (26th July to 2nd August 2014)…I just learnt today that Lyriversity has reached the Deciduous Plains of New-Zealand (the city of 100 volcanoes), in fact it has even navigated the River Ganges, explored the Himalayas (I hope) and came crushing, no descending smoothly into the Lateritic Soils of Eastern Nigeria.
Whether you move by car, or by plane, or by bike or bicycle, or by Leg-geedis benz still, you are welcome to join us as we share with you our week in a thousand words.

Nigerian lower class: life and direct, no sugar-coating…It’s simply hot like drying sawdust on live-coal, no simile.

    Wonderful one

  2. Anene Francis says:

Someone stole my condiment hahaha… Nice.
    * Pic1: taa! Century old pic (no less lovely sha)
    * Pic2: mehn those smiles are contagious. I am sure Linus forgot to snap for some seconds. 😀
    * Pic3&5: I see in a child that innocence I long lost 😦 . Undo is sometimes found only in wish’s keyboard. The bliss radiating from a child’s eyes can spur me to plunge into the deep blue sea in search of mine. To live free once again…
    * Pic4: I can only take a pic together with Lawrence on one condition. I must put on high heel shoes 😀 . I don’t know about you but I can see Maurice too… (The geospatial database launch got my intention specially) nice.
    * Pic6: I guess the Himalayas relocated elsewhere because of the tough competition for height and beauty. Mr Editor, is your guess still as good?
    * Pic7: Bia! Who interrupted Chika’s work and persuaded him to pose for this photo na? Couldn’t he have waited for launch break when he would have been more willing? 😀
    * Pic8-10: Solar I hope you patronized the woman and book sellers o, abi you just snap waka pass…(Side note: Abeg o let’s be careful about taking pictures with people in it without their consent o. Make person no go sue Lyriversity to court in future, when Nigeria (I hope) becomes less lawless lol. Nothing wrong with these ones sha.)
    * Beautiful pics (my MB was worth it)

  3. Ok for clarification purposes ESRI means Environmental systems research institute, they are a well know organization in the realm of GIS database and software development. If you’ve used applications like IILWIS and ARCGIS or ERDAS IMAGINE on your PC den you’ll love what this guys do. they just launched ArcGIS 11.0 d i tell you that software is powerful. Hope that was explanatory enough?

  4. And solar the man in the pic with lil khan is my father, the Ozoigbondu 1 of Orumba.

  5. Tim Nwaobilo says:

    Lyriversity I like this.
    Good good.
